This dog gate features a patent pending adjustable dog or cat door which makes this gate truly unique. The pet door retracts up into the gate tubing at three variable height settings – 5 in., 6.5 in. & 8 in. This makes it easy to bring the adjustable pet door up to the desired height to match your pet’s size. Perfect for letting kitty come and go to the litter box while keeping your puppy contained, as well as many other uses. When it’s time to close the small door, simply use the designated slots found on the pet door and squeeze to gently bring the door down – no annoying dog door that’s been left open to trip over! This dog gate also features an extra wide 22 in. door for the entire family to walk through with ease. To control the direction that the gate swings, a swing control lever allows you to decide – swing in one direction or allow the gate to swing in both directions. Please note: When you unpack this gate you will notice that it is not square. This is normal and the gate is not damaged. It is manufactured at a pre-set angle so when it is installed properly in the opening, it will maintain the correct amount of tension and prevent it from being pushed out of the opening under normal use. Please read and follow the instruction manual carefully.
